How can I use GPS coordinates in a Maps App?

If you don't have an address for a place, you can enter the GPS coordinates directly into the Maps app search bar and the location will be displayed.

1. Open the desired Maps app.

2. Tap Search.

3. Enter the latitude and longitude coordinates in the search bar.

   Coordinates can be in decimal degree format or degrees, minutes, seconds.

   Here are examples of properly formatted coordinates:

   44.5903 -104.7153 or 44 35′25″n 104 42′55″w

4. Hit Search.

   After entering the coordinates into the Maps app search field the app will drop a pin at your desired location.

5. Hit Directions.

   The Maps app will then provide navigation information to the desired location.
